Hello once more!

Day 1, 29 August 2023: We embark on our Summer 2023 adventure, spanning nearly three weeks. Our journey commenced from Bucharest at 5 in the morning. With just 370 kilometers ahead, roughly a 5-hour drive according to Google Maps, our destination is set for Drobeta Turnu Severin, Romania. Our accommodation was booked through Booking.com, and we smoothly checked in at 10:00 AM. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and we were highly satisfied with it. Following our check-in, we set out to explore and find a place to dine. Our first stop was at ‘Chipul lui Decebal,’ one of the most captivating attractions in the Danube’s Cauldrons region. We had a delightful meal at a local restaurant, and the food was absolutely delicious. After our mini excursion and sightseeing, we returned to the city, where we visited the Water Castle, a historic structure dating back to 1910, offering a splendid view of the city. We then proceeded to the Medieval Fortress of Severin, and after a short stroll through Dragalina Park, we enjoyed our evening meal in the city center, near the Kinetic Fountain. It was a peaceful and enjoyable evening. We extend our gratitude to Drobeta Turnu Severin for a lovely start to our journey!
