Summer 2023 and the 3 weeks adventure Budva – Montenegro

On the 9th day of our adventure on 6 September, 2023: With only 50 kilometers separating Tivat, Montenegro, from Budva, Montenegro, we set off in a relaxed manner around 10 AM. In theory, our plan was to visit the Aquapark Budva, but upon checking their official website, we found out that it had closed for the season on September 1. Nevertheless, everything turned out well, as we had time to explore the Old Town of Budva, which was truly remarkable.
While not as vast as Dubrovnik, Croatia, it was a delightful place for a leisurely stroll. Parking required payment, and luckily, we arrived early and found a parking spot very close to the Old Town. We then headed to Plaža Ričardova Glava, which is right next to the Old Town. After buying souvenirs in the Old Town of Budva and having lunch, we decided to return to our accommodation, drop off our bags, and visit the next tourist attraction.
We went to see the beach recommended by our host as suitable for children, and indeed, it was a fantastic choice. There were numerous activities for kids, including water slides and various restaurant options. In the evening, Ade expressed a craving for Chinese cuisine, and it was well worth the trip to Wok & Go. We were highly satisfied.
On the 10th day of our adventure on 7 September, 2023: Today, after breakfast, we decided to visit Becici Beach. The Budva resort was quite generous with its large, well-equipped beaches, and there was available parking nearby. After having a meal, we returned to our accommodation and went for a walk to visit Sveti Stefan. Parking was accessible, and it wasn’t too crowded.
In the evening, we searched for a pizza place and decided to order from Padrino – Pizza Delivery after reading reviews about it being the best pizza in the area.
Thank you, Budva; we enjoyed the vast beaches and impressive landscapes.
