Summer 2023 and the 3 weeks adventure Petrovac na Moru – Montenegro
On the 11th day of our adventure on 8 September 2023: Today’s destination was Petrovac na Moru, Montenegro, which was only 20 kilometers away. We set off at a leisurely pace after breakfast. Finding our accommodation proved a bit challenging, as it took some time to locate the property. The host, booked through Booking, struggled a bit with English when providing directions, but we eventually found our way. We found parking nearby without any issues.
Our accommodation host suggested Lucice Beach, and we decided to visit. We drove there, and parking required a fee. The beach was a bit crowded, so we kept a close eye on the kids. We had lunch at the restaurant next to the beach, Albatros. The food was good, but we weren’t thrilled with the available restrooms. Later in the day, we returned to our accommodation and then headed to Petrovac na Moru’s beach, which was less crowded, making us more comfortable. In the evening, we strolled along the waterfront and enjoyed the panoramic views.
On the 12th day of our adventure on 9 September 2023: After breakfast, we took the kids to visit the Hiking Trail Lucice – Buljarica. It’s a pleasant path that connects Luchica Beach and Buljarica Beach. After our short excursion, we returned to Petrovac na Moru for lunch and enjoyed the beautiful weather at the beach. The kids spent the entire day at the beach. In the afternoon, Ada wanted to try scuba diving for the first time. Near Petrovac Castle Lazaret, this service was available. We went on a boat, and for Adela, scuba diving involved circling the Park prirode “Katič.” She was very impressed. In the evening, we visited Ponta Beach Club, but the waves were quite large. The view was beautiful, but we decided to dine elsewhere and went to Restaurant Taverna instead. It was very pleasant and relaxing, and we felt that Petrovac na Moru deserved another two or three days to explore further. Thank you for your hospitality.
