On the 15th day of our adventure on 12 September 2023, we departed from Durres, Albania, very early in the morning, even earlier than originally planned. Unfortunately, the room at our accommodation in Durres didn’t provide a pleasant stay. However, this unexpected early start turned out to be a blessing in disguise because it allowed us to arrive in Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, ahead of schedule.

We were pleasantly surprised by the modernity of the city. During our visit to Pristina, we explored remarkable landmarks such as the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour and The National Library of Kosovo, both of which seemed like they were from another world. We took leisurely strolls and enjoyed a coffee in the pedestrian center of Pristina.

After this brief but enriching visit to Pristina, we continued our journey toward Skopje, the capital of Macedonia.
