We managed to arrive at a reasonable hour, and our Booking accommodation exceeded expectations. They even awaited us to assist with parking, providing a spot in the apartment building’s garage. They recommended the Westy Hajó Étterem & Pub for dining. I must admit, I chose this city for a rest stop, being halfway between Paris and Bucharest, without realizing it’s such a picturesque place. Consequently, we decided not to leave at the crack of dawn and explore the city. After settling in, we ventured out to visit the old town of Győr. We were pleasantly surprised to find the Győri Óriáskerék, a Ferris wheel set up in the old town for the winter holidays. We took advantage of the available time for the children’s enjoyment. Before departure, we returned to Westy Hajó Étterem & Pub to savor traditional Hungarian cuisine once again. Thank you, Győr, for the pleasant surprise, and your traditional Hungarian dishes are among the most delicious.
